A SPRING SONNET  

A Beautiful Residence at Nadiad, First-time parents & their will to have a spring Baby shower – A desire that led us to weave “A pichwai bloom” – pastel-tinted Décor Diary!

 

A contemporary Pop style was taken as a design language Weaving Ombre Yellow & peach tones as fabric Installations, entrance adorned with Pop up hand-painted cows, brass lotuses & a floral arch entry leading Onto a welcome marigold walkway. it almost felt like walking into a “Sarson ka khet” just out of DDLJ. Since the family believed in Krishan, A huge flower pasted Shri Nathji mural was handcrafted right at the Home entry.  References from Pichwai art were explored as iconography on custom-made cushion covers. Lotuses were again used as floral pasted forms to make the pooja backdrop.

 

The Home was divided into interesting zones Like the marigold walkway entrance, The Shreenathji welcome porch, The lotus Pooja room, The outdoor garden doubling up as an AC guest lounge as an extension of this pooja room, Parking converted into a Food lounge with draped ceilings & exquisite furniture, Making this home One of a kind Handcrafted celebration space!

And once the rituals are done ….it was time to Chill, So as an extension to the morning celebration A cocktail night was set in the family Farmhouse with a gorgeous poolside. Their desire was to have a setup that was intimate, lounge-like – almost a living room in the open where they let loose with their near & dear ones. Owing to the Rustic character of the farmhouse,  We intuitively knew that Recreating Tuscany would be the best fit . . . .we wove a character which was Street  Italian - haphazard yet soulful, just like the sidewalk cafes & squares of an iconic Italian town.
